What is it?
A F2P mobile RPG/restaurant management sim hybrid. It follows the mold of other fantasy "summon hot people to fight for you" games, only in this case the hot people are anthropomorphic representations of various cuisines from around the world. I swear it is better than it sounds.
Where do I find it?
You can download the game on the play store or the app store. But due to the limited-time nature of the game's events, you won't be able to get to the relevant lore for my requested ship right away. Each gaggle of food souls (the summonable gijinka characters) has their own backstory and lore that are mostly independent of one another.

[Mackerel Ichiyaboshi is] Junmai Daiginjo’s loyal dog. He is so devoted that even if Daiginjo ordered him to drop dead, he would happily oblige. He knows some of Daiginjo’s business is questionable; however, he would still follow his every word. - Mackerel's bio
Fuck me, the relationship these two have just called me RIGHT out. A cunning, business-minded male prostitute with a possessive streak and his desperately, self-destructively loyal woobie servant? Yes, thank you, I'll take twenty.
* How did Mackerel first approach Daiginjo after being saved by him? We know Daiginjo eventually agrees to be his master, but Daiginjo seems picky and strict with how he chooses the people around him. How did Mackerel prove himself to him?
* I'd love something from their early days together. Mackerel was a traumatized and poorly-socialized "monster" who had no idea how to stand up for himself. How did Daiginjo help him go from that to being willing to snap and defend Daiginjo's honor at the drop of a hat?
* Jealousy. Daiginjo still seems to be taking customers at his brothel, even if it's only the high-class ones. Mackerel doesn't like that one bit, but he does his best to bite his tongue; it's not his place to object to his master's business practices.
* Jealousy version 2: Mackerel is very pretty, and not the most modestly-dressed. More than one customer assumes Mackerel is available for purchase, and pressures Daiginjo about it. Mackerel is flustered to the extreme and has no idea how to politely turn people down. Daiginjo's possessiveness rears its head.
* Speaking of Daiginjo's possessiveness, anything leaning into that is A+ 10/10 in my book. Whether it's one of Daiginjo's acquaintances jokingly discussing asking Mackerel to come work with them, Daiginjo misunderstanding something Mackerel is doing and getting jealous, or something else...just. It's so good.
* So, like, how about that smut potential? I can't assume Mackerel is anything but a virgin. Daiginjo is very much, well, not. First times with Mackerel being nervous, overwhelmed, and uncertain but definitely incredibly horny for his pretty boss (who wants to WRECK this stupidly attractive fish boy), y/y? :D
* Xeno! Mackerel is a merman, after all. Daiginjo playing with his gills (maybe pouring water/sake on them?) would be amazing. As would Mackerel not having standard genitals. Apparently his family of fish have slits to secrete their semen from... (Or just, y'know, give him two dicks or tentacles or something. I don't need anatomical accuracy in my fishboy-fucking fic.)
* One more smut-related thing: We've already seen Daiginjo tie Mackerel up and force him to do things he doesn't want as punishment for endangering himself. Just...add sex to that equation. I don't mind dubcon, although I would like for Mackerel to eventually enjoy it!

- Natsune/Yamabiki -
I feel so blessed that this ship exists. All throughout canon I kept thinking "oh man wouldn't it be iddy if...but there's no way they'll go there." And then they went there. Every time.
I'm happy with all sorts of content for these two. Post-canon where they're Happy and Okay and finally get to have a (somewhat) normal relationship with another human! During-canon bonding! Post-canon adventures in weird science! During-canon angsty smut leaning into all the body horror and breeding! Post-canon happy smut leaning into the body horror and breeding - but in a chill, consensual way! Both of them getting to finally work through their (many, many) traumas! So many possibilities. Some specific prompts:
* Post-canon, Natsune struggles to learn How to Human properly. Luckily, Yamabiki may be the one guy in the world who cares the least about propriety.
* Due to the lighthearted face Yamabiki puts on, Natsune kind of assumed that all of Yamabiki's flirting/foreplay was meant as a joke. There's no way the guy's actually attracted to a mutant experiment like him, right? (Wrong, and Yamabiki is happy to prove it.)
* A few years after escaping the Cradle, Natsune's chronological age gives him a surprise when he stumbles into a very late puberty. Suddenly he has all these hormones and desires and no idea what to do with them. Yamabiki has a few ideas.
* As much as I love the horny cannibalism we got in the manga, given the title Starving Anonymous, I am a bit surprised we never got to see Natsune letting Yamabiki nibble on him just for sustenance. How long were they down there? C'mon, he must have been hungry! Or, or: Years later when they're living a normal life, Natsune's sworn he won't be treated like a piece of meat ever again. Cue Yamabiki ruining those plans when he admits he wouldn't mind cutting off a little bit of Natsune's flesh and marinating it for dinner. Just. Fluffy, romantic cannibalism. <3
* Hear me out here: A canon divergence where Yamabiki tries to execute his cloning plan earlier in the timeline. The higher-ups spying on them see "The weird mutant prettyboy does some strange sexual ritual with the Regenerator -> more Regenerators???" Cue them seizing Natsune and Yamabiki and drugging them up to try and make a new set of Reproducers.
* Speaking of the Reproducer drugs, another idea: One of them accidentally pricks themselves with a tiny dose of the serum. They're not irreversibly gone, but someone's gotta step up to the plate and satisfy them to bring them back down to earth...
* A twist on Bad Guys Made Them Do It: Canon divergence where the boys don't succeed at fighting off the Halcyon group. Kiriyu wants to degrade and ruin his son-in-law as soon and as brutally as possible. He announces to the others his intentions to have a Halcyon member rape Yamabiki, which Natsune realizes would all but certainly kill him. Desperate and short on time, Natsune goes with the first plan that comes to mind...and volunteers to do it instead. After all, if Kiriyu's just after humiliation, what's more humiliating than being violated by your own ally, right? Right?!
What is it?
An ongoing comedy manga about a hapless and cowardly human teacher who ends up teaching at a high school full of youkai. While his students have fun tormenting him and watching him squirm, they quickly start bonding. It has a huge ensemble cast filled with lovable, diverse, and adorable characters, and is as heartwarming as it is funny. (And, uh, as of vol 8, occasionally as fucked up as it is funny. Fair warning.)

- Haruaki Abe/Mikoto Sano -
Look. You give me a sadistic delinquent student who loves to torment his masochistic nerd teacher, and then give them a disdain-to-respect-to-affection relationship arc, I'm gonna love it and want more.
(I'd prefer no serious "omg I'm a teacher dating/screwing my student!" angst, simply because with the way these two's power dynamic is in canon, I can't see it playing out that way.)
* Youkai of the week casefic! Some supernatural shenanigans befall Haru and Sano and they have to work together to solve a problem, growing closer along the way.
* So when does Sano first realize he's gone from hating Haru to tolerating him to admiring him to having a massive crush on him? And how much does Haru have to suffer because Sano's so goddamn mad about that realization?
* Courtship is hard when you're a yakubyougami and your gestures of affection come out as violence and misfortune. He's trying, okay?
* The two have to sneak into a youkai event, so it's time for: Undercover as a couple!
* Dear god, can you imagine Haruaki's family finding out he's dating a youkai? His parents would probably attempt to throw a wedding ceremony on the spot, and for Ameaki...there will be blood.
* I'm absolutely here for 10K of awkward teacher/student smut. Definitely involving a lot of sadomasochism, probably involving sailor uniforms, potentially involving inappropriate use of yakubyougami magic. (Also, just saying: Sano's joking "yeah, I'm a god, bow down to me" line made me crave some genuine domination/worship kink. You know he'd love it.)
What is it?
Three words: Pretty. Steampunk. Vampires.
More words: A fun gothy fantasy manga, ongoing at 7 volumes. In 19th century France, vampires and humans live side-by-side, but they have quite the contentious relationship. A kindhearted and naive young vampire travels from the countryside to the heart of Paris, and is immediately accosted/recruited by a reckless and emotionally volatile human who claims to be a doctor for vampires. They set out on a mission to help the local vampires, which - shockingly! - gets them into a whole bunch of trouble.

- August Ruthven/Noé Archiviste-
Me? Shipping the jaded bastard villain with the cinnamon roll hero he bites and mind controls? Whoever could have predicted this?
Really, just lean into their canon dynamic here. Ruthven is a slimy, scheming bastard who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Noé is...Noé, and he's simultaneously too sweet and trusting for his own good, and one of the only people confident enough to stand up to Ruthven when it counts. It's messy and I'm here for it.
* Listen. All I'm saying is that bite is one of the hottest pages I've ever seen in a manga, and I will take as much dubiously-consensual kinky vampire foreplay as you can give me.
* Please do feel welcome to play up the age/experience gap. Ruthven always calling Noé "boy" was...relevant to my interests.
* Maybe Ruthven's curse affected Noé's mind in more ways than one. After their encounter, even if Noé can't quite remember what happened, he finds himself thinking about the handsome vampire lord, pulled to him for some reason he can't understand... (Ruthven, in the background: All according to keikaku)
* Somehow, Noé finds himself drinking Ruthven's blood. Ruthven expects the anger Noé has at being manipulated. He doesn't expect Noé to give him so much sympathy for what Ruthven went through in the past, and kinda bluescreens at facing so much genuine kindness.
* Naenia/a curse-bearer/another senate member/some other outside force overpowers Ruthven and puts him in danger. Noé comes to the rescue, and Ruthven does NOT know how he feels about that.
* Look, if you're open to writing 10K of dubcon smut, probably featuring lots of bloodplay and hair-pulling? Be my guest. No, seriously, I will roll out the red carpet for you. (It's red because there's blood all over it.)
What is it?
A psychological horror story about a girl who finds herself working at a run-down circus full of colorful sociopathic characters. It's rather infamously violent and grotesque, tackling topics like animal cruelty, rape, and childhood sexual abuse.
Where do I find it?
There are three versions of the tale, all quite short:
1. The original 8-chapter manga, which can be found on most manga-reading sites.
2. A 50-minute OVA adaptation (made ENTIRELY by one hard-working artist), which can be watched here. It's basically identical to the manga.
3. A 1.5 hr live-action movie adaptation (NSFW trailer link), which can be found on a popular drama-streaming site under the name "The Camellia Girl." This is the least extreme version of the story, with characters being aged up, the sexual violence toned down, and things like, y'know, puppy murder being kept off-screen. It's a fun adaptation, and gives more depth and character arcs to some of the main characters.
(Note: If writing post-canon and from Kanabun's POV, I'd prefer for him to think of himself with male pronouns. If doing pre-/during-canon, or writing from anyone else's perspective, female pronouns are fine.)
- Kanabun the Boy-Girl -
I find myself fascinated by Kanabun. Yes, he's obviously a terrible, horrible person. He's also 14 at the absolute oldest, living by selling his body to a pervy old man, and surrounded by sex, hatred, and violence every day. He seems like a vision of what Midori COULD have become, if she hadn't found a way to get out of the circus life.
* Backstory! What was Kanabun's early childhood like? What was it like growing up intersex, in a time before that was really understood? Were his parents present at all? How did he find the circus, and did he join it of his own free will?
* How about his early days in the freak show? How did he start developing his act? How did the other circus members treat him at first, before he was established? (I find it hard to believe Midori was the only one they hassled at first.)
* Post-canon! He's had his moment of self-discovery and been forced to move on from life as a professional freak. But getting out of that mindset and into the real world is going to be hard, to say the least. How does he deal with trying to establish a normal life? Heck, how does he deal with finally hitting puberty? Does his body become more woman-like as he grows, even though he's decided to live as a man? This boy has so much unresolved trauma and damage he's gonna have to face after the credits roll, is all I'm saying. (At least in the movie version, he has Benitsu and Akaza there along with him! I'd love to read about the three of them living together and supporting each other in their own odd way while trying to find their own places in the world.)
- Akaza & Benitsu & Kanabun & Muchisute -
I don't have specific prompts for these four, just a general request for pre-canon exploration! All of these characters seem like they have a deeper story we aren't told. They're ripe for backstory - of their lives before the freak show, how they came to work for it, etc. Plus, their time together at the circus. What kind of odd, troubling, and no-doubt immoral shenanigans do they get up to even before Midori joins them?

I made a full promo post this year! TL;DR: Terrible kinky serial killers and yakuza being terrible and kinky at each other.

I don't think the manga has ever been officially licensed, but scanlations are easily found online. The movie is available to rent/buy on Youtube, and is also on Shudder, where you can get a free 7 day trial.
(Note 1: I've both read the manga and seen the movie. I wrote my requests with the manga in mind, simply because manga Kakihara is a lot more openly bi and horny and that's my shit, but I'm A-okay with movie based fic! Or a blend of the two. Pick whatever elements you like from each, go wild.)

You know, I facetiously describe a lot of my favorite ships as "the two most terrible people ever who make the most dysfunctional couple ever." But I think...I think these two take the cake in that department. Two perverts who have absolutely no redeeming human qualities, resort to deadly, pointless violence at the drop of a hat, and have the combined emotional intelligence of a rock. They're perfect for each other! :D
* Most fic with these two would probably have to take off from after the balcony/rooftop finale, but if you can figure out how to make something before that work, go for it! Maybe Kakihara indulges in some very realistic and thought-out fantasies of Ichi coming to kill him that turn into Ichi doing...more...than that. Kakihara would take noncon fantasies to a whole new level.
* R63 AU. Literally everything is the same except that Ichi and Kakihara are women. Or just Kakihara is female! I'm here for it.
* With how easily-manipulated Ichi is, I can all too easily see Kakihara convincing him to ditch Jijii and come work with him. What kind of fucked-up domestic happily ever after do these two bastards get up to? And how many spit-takes are done when Kakihara shows up at some yakuza hangout with his new serial killer boyfriend?
* Some canon divergence where Ichi and Kakihara meet without Jijii's interference, and Ichi isn't actively attempting to kill Kakihara. How does Kakihara react to finally having the famed Ichi to himself?
- Anjou/Kakihara -
To say Kakihara has any good qualities would be a stretch, and yet, you can't help but admire his love for his boss. And, y'know, his love for getting beaten to a pulp by said boss to serve his boner. Honestly, just lean into their canon dynamic and keep Anjou from kicking the bucket, and I'll be happy.
* First meetings! Backstory! Was Kakihara always so flashy and outrageous, or did he develop that persona over time after getting comfortable in Anjou's gang? Was itlove at first sight lust at first punch for Kakihara, or did it take him a while to realize what he was feeling for his boss? How did Anjou feel about bringing a wildcard like Kakihara under his wing, especially with how unpredictable he could be? How did Anjou react to his right hand man's very, very obvious crush on him and his fists?
* Do...do I even have to mention what kind of smut I'd like between these two? Exactly what they get up to in canon. There doesn't need to be sex. Kakihara's violence boner is more than enough for me. :D
* R63 AU. Look. Something about a sexually aggressive masochistic crimelord lady and her indulgent older woman boss who beats her up to keep her happy? Makes my id happy.
* Outsider POV! I am so, so here for a look into how other yakuza view Anjou and Kakihara. How many cocky young criminals made the mistake of assuming Kakihara is just Anjou's boytoy? What does a new inductee to Anjou's clan think as they slowly realize that no, Kakihara isn't just putting on an act to intimidate people, he really is Like That? Does a well-meaning but naive outsider assume that Kakihara is being abused against his will and try to "help?" Just...give me all of people trying to process what the hell the relationship is between Anjou and his enforcer.
I don't have a ton of specific prompts for these tags because the relationship tags are basically prompts in and of themselves. I like backstory, I like worldbuilding, I like smut, I like character interactions that reveal things about the characters without them coming out and actually saying anything directly. I like relationships that start antagonistic and reluctantly grow less so. (Or that start antagonistic and grow even MORE antagonistic. That's A+ too.)
- Dethroned and Enslaved Cyborg Prince/Immoral Cyborg Slave Trader (M/M) -
If I were in the habit of titling my requests, I would have titled this one "Whump, Powerplay, and Robotfucking, Oh My." Which is 100% what I'd like out of this pairing.
* Maybe the slave trader (who could either be a cyborg himself or just a human who deals in cyborg slaves) admired the prince from afar when he was still in power? And when the disgraced prince gets dropped at his feet, he's a kid on christmas morning.
* What kind of person (er, cyborg) is the prince? Was he a cruel, prideful ruler who was forced off the throne by his mistreated subjects? A kind and gentle ruler who was in the wrong place at the wrong time? A timid figurehead who never wanted power in the first place? Whichever it is, the slave trader has far too much fun playing off it now that the prince has fallen from glory.
* Does the slave trader have some personal history with the monarchy? For added dramatic betrayal, maybe he used to be someone who worked in the palace or knew/was friendly with the prince when he was young.
* Just. 10k of sexy cyborg whump. I'm here for it.
- Magical Girl With an Eating Disorder/Her Concerned Nemesis (F/F) -

I am weeeeeak for reluctant and grumpy hurt/comfort, featuring: A stubborn hero who has NO issues whatsoever, nothing's wrong, haha what are you talking about? And a villain who totally definitely doesn't care about her arch enemy, but dammit, they're clearly hurting themselves and that's her job, okay! Give me all the dysfunction and denial and h/c. :D
* The stress of teenage life is already hard enough. Add saving the world onto that, and it's easy to develop some unhealthy coping mechanisms. It's simple enough for our hero to ignore the toll their eating habits are taking on their physical health, but when it starts affecting their ability to fight evil...we might have a problem.
* How does the nemesis start suspecting what's going on with her rival? Does she notice the warning signs out of personal experience? Is it a secret identity situation where she attends the same school as the hero, and makes the connection between what she sees them doing at lunch and their poor performance in their role as a magical girl/boy?
* "Look, I know we're supposed to have our big showdown tonight, but I SAW you down all those laxatives. You, uh, wanna reschedule our fight for tomorrow? Or the day after?"
* Magical boy/girl collapses mid-confrontation with their nemesis, before they've even gotten to the battling. Cue a fed-up nemesis picking them up and insisting on getting their blood sugar up NOW, yes don't worry she'll grab something low-calorie, now sit down and drink some electrolytes, dammit. Only so they can have a fair fight later, of course. >:c

I'm a sucker for a good old-fashioned "AI causes lots of trouble for his reluctant body-having companion" tale.
* Why does the AI want to hijack a body? Is the android a threat of some sort? Is there something - or someone - he's looking to escape that he can't on his own? Is he just really into the idea of having a body and doesn't want to fill out the paperwork to obtain one?
* I am delighted by the idea of an AI who thinks he can just hop into a body and know how to use it effortlessly, and promptly falls flat on his face because what the fuck, this is so heavy, how is he going to coordinate a dozen different limbs at once? And the body's owner is going to reluctantly have to help him, if they're ever going to get their body back.
* What kind of android are we dealing with? A manual labor robot? A hearty android warrior? A sex robot? Maybe the android already has some negative past experiences with having their body taken over against their will...
* Of course there's the initial conflict of "who are you, what the heck, excuse me can I please have my bodily autonomy back?" But do the AI and the android grow closer over time, maybe through being forced to work together somehow?

What is it?
A F2P mobile RPG/restaurant management sim hybrid. It follows the mold of other fantasy "summon hot people to fight for you" games, only in this case the hot people are anthropomorphic representations of various cuisines from around the world. I swear it is better than it sounds.

* How did Mackerel first approach Daiginjo after being saved by him? We know Daiginjo eventually agrees to be his master, but Daiginjo seems picky and strict with how he chooses the people around him. How did Mackerel prove himself to him?
* I'd love something from their early days together. Mackerel was a traumatized and poorly-socialized "monster" who had no idea how to stand up for himself. How did Daiginjo help him go from that to being willing to snap and defend Daiginjo's honor at the drop of a hat?
* Jealousy. Daiginjo still seems to be taking customers at his brothel, even if it's only the high-class ones. Mackerel doesn't like that one bit, but he does his best to bite his tongue; it's not his place to object to his master's business practices.
* Jealousy version 2: Mackerel is very pretty, and not the most modestly-dressed. More than one customer assumes Mackerel is available for purchase, and pressures Daiginjo about it. Mackerel is flustered to the extreme and has no idea how to politely turn people down. Daiginjo's possessiveness rears its head.
* Speaking of Daiginjo's possessiveness, anything leaning into that is A+ 10/10 in my book. Whether it's one of Daiginjo's acquaintances jokingly discussing asking Mackerel to come work with them, Daiginjo misunderstanding something Mackerel is doing and getting jealous, or something else...just. It's so good.
* So, like, how about that smut potential? I can't assume Mackerel is anything but a virgin. Daiginjo is very much, well, not. First times with Mackerel being nervous, overwhelmed, and uncertain but definitely incredibly horny for his pretty boss (who wants to WRECK this stupidly attractive fish boy), y/y? :D
* Xeno! Mackerel is a merman, after all. Daiginjo playing with his gills (maybe pouring water/sake on them?) would be amazing. As would Mackerel not having standard genitals. I feel so blessed that this ship exists. All throughout canon I kept thinking "oh man wouldn't it be iddy if...but there's no way they'll go there." And then they went there. Every time.
I'm happy with all sorts of content for these two. Post-canon where they're Happy and Okay and finally get to have a (somewhat) normal relationship with another human! During-canon bonding! Post-canon adventures in weird science! During-canon angsty smut leaning into all the body horror and breeding! Post-canon happy smut leaning into the body horror and breeding - but in a chill, consensual way! Both of them getting to finally work through their (many, many) traumas! So many possibilities. Some specific prompts:
* Post-canon, Natsune struggles to learn How to Human properly. Luckily, Yamabiki may be the one guy in the world who cares the least about propriety.
* Due to the lighthearted face Yamabiki puts on, Natsune kind of assumed that all of Yamabiki's flirting/foreplay was meant as a joke. There's no way the guy's actually attracted to a mutant experiment like him, right? (Wrong, and Yamabiki is happy to prove it.)
* A few years after escaping the Cradle, Natsune's chronological age gives him a surprise when he stumbles into a very late puberty. Suddenly he has all these hormones and desires and no idea what to do with them. Yamabiki has a few ideas.
* As much as I love the horny cannibalism we got in the manga, given the title Starving Anonymous, I am a bit surprised we never got to see Natsune letting Yamabiki nibble on him just for sustenance. How long were they down there? C'mon, he must have been hungry! Or, or: Years later when they're living a normal life, Natsune's sworn he won't be treated like a piece of meat ever again. Cue Yamabiki ruining those plans when he admits he wouldn't mind cutting off a little bit of Natsune's flesh and marinating it for dinner. Just. Fluffy, romantic cannibalism. <3
* Hear me out here: A canon divergence where Yamabiki tries to execute his cloning plan earlier in the timeline. The higher-ups spying on them see "The weird mutant prettyboy does some strange sexual ritual with the Regenerator -> more Regenerators???" Cue them seizing Natsune and Yamabiki and drugging them up to try and make a new set of Reproducers.
* Speaking of the Reproducer drugs, another idea: One of them accidentally pricks themselves with a tiny dose of the serum. They're not irreversibly gone, but someone's gotta step up to the plate and satisfy them to bring them back down to earth...
* A twist on Bad Guys Made Them Do It: Canon divergence where the boys don't succeed at fighting off the Halcyon group. Kiriyu wants to degrade and ruin his son-in-law as soon and as brutally as possible. He announces to the others his intentions to have a Halcyon member rape Yamabiki, which Natsune realizes would all but certainly kill him. Desperate and short on time, Natsune goes with the first plan that comes to mind...and volunteers to do it instead. After all, if Kiriyu's just after humiliation, what's more humiliating than being violated by your own ally, right? Right?!
A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!
What is it?
An ongoing comedy manga about a hapless and cowardly human teacher who ends up teaching at a high school full of youkai. While his students have fun tormenting him and watching him squirm, they quickly start bonding. It has a huge ensemble cast filled with lovable, diverse, and adorable characters, and is as heartwarming as it is funny. (And, uh, as of vol 8, occasionally as fucked up as it is funny. Fair warning.)

* So when does Sano first realize he's gone from hating Haru to tolerating him to admiring him to having a massive crush on him? And how much does Haru have to suffer because Sano's so goddamn mad about that realization?
* Courtship is hard when you're a yakubyougami and your gestures of affection come out as violence and misfortune. He's trying, okay?
* The two have to sneak into a youkai event, so it's time for: Undercover as a couple!
* Dear god, can you imagine Haruaki's family finding out he's dating a youkai? His parents would probably attempt to throw a wedding ceremony on the spot, and for Ameaki...there will be blood.
* I'm absolutely here for 10K of awkward teacher/student smut. Definitely involving a lot of sadomasochism, probably involving sailor uniforms, potentially involving inappropriate use of yakubyougami magic. (Also, just saying: Sano's joking "yeah, I'm a god, bow down to me" line made me crave some genuine domination/worship kink. You know he'd love it.)

A kindhearted and naive young vampire travels from the countryside to the heart of Paris, and is immediately accosted/recruited by a reckless and emotionally volatile human who claims to be a doctor for vampires. They set out on a mission to help the local vampires, which - shockingly! - gets them into a whole bunch of trouble.

Really, just lean into their canon dynamic here. Ruthven is a slimy, scheming bastard who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Noé is...Noé, and he's simultaneously too sweet and trusting for his own good, and one of the only people confident enough to stand up to Ruthven when it counts. It's messy and I'm here for it.
* Listen. All I'm saying is that bite is one of the hottest pages I've ever seen in a manga, and I will take as much dubiously-consensual kinky vampire foreplay as you can give me.
* Please do feel welcome to play up the age/experience gap. Ruthven always calling Noé "boy" was...relevant to my interests.
* Maybe Ruthven's curse affected Noé's mind in more ways than one. After their encounter, even if Noé can't quite remember what happened, he finds himself thinking about the handsome vampire lord, pulled to him for some reason he can't understand... * Naenia/a curse-bearer/another senate member/some other outside force overpowers Ruthven and puts him in danger. Noé comes to the rescue, and Ruthven does NOT know how he feels about that.

Midori | Shoujo Tsubaki
What is it?
A psychological horror story about a girl who finds herself working at a run-down circus full of colorful sociopathic characters. It's rather infamously violent and grotesque, tackling topics like animal cruelty, rape, and childhood sexual abuse.
Where do I find it?
There are three versions of the tale, all quite short:
1. The original 8-chapter manga, which can be found on most manga-reading sites.
2. A 50-minute OVA adaptation (made ENTIRELY by one hard-working artist), which can be watched here. It's basically identical to the manga.
3. A 1.5 hr live-action movie adaptation (NSFW trailer link), which can be found on a popular drama-streaming site under the name "The Camellia Girl." This is the least extreme version of the story, with characters being aged up, the sexual violence toned down, and things like, y'know, puppy murder being kept off-screen. It's a fun adaptation, and gives more depth and character arcs to some of the main characters.
(Note: If writing post-canon and from Kanabun's POV, I'd prefer for him to think of himself with male pronouns. If doing pre-/during-canon, or writing from anyone else's perspective, female pronouns are fine.)

I find myself fascinated by Kanabun. Yes, he's obviously a terrible, horrible person. He's also 14 at the absolute oldest, living by selling his body to a pervy old man, and surrounded by sex, hatred, and violence every day. He seems like a vision of what Midori COULD have become, if she hadn't found a way to get out of the circus life.
* Backstory! What was Kanabun's early childhood like? What was it like growing up intersex, in a time before that was really understood? Were his parents present at all? How did he find the circus, and did he join it of his own free will?
* How about his early days in the freak show? How did he start developing his act? How did the other circus members treat him at first, before he was established? (I find it hard to believe Midori was the only one they hassled at first.)
* Post-canon! He's had his moment of self-discovery and been forced to move on from life as a professional freak. But getting out of that mindset and into the real world is going to be hard, to say the least. How does he deal with trying to establish a normal life? Heck, how does he deal with finally hitting puberty? Does his body become more woman-like as he grows, even though he's decided to live as a man? This boy has so much unresolved trauma and damage he's gonna have to face after the credits roll, is all I'm saying. (At least in the movie version, he has Benitsu and Akaza there along with him! I'd love to read about the three of them living together and supporting each other in their own odd way while trying to find their own places in the world.)

I don't have specific prompts for these four, just a general request for pre-canon exploration! All of these characters seem like they have a deeper story we aren't told. They're ripe for backstory - of their lives before the freak show, how they came to work for it, etc. Plus, their time together at the circus. What kind of odd, troubling, and no-doubt immoral shenanigans do they get up to even before Midori joins them?

To say Kakihara has any good qualities would be a stretch, and yet, you can't help but admire his love for his boss. And, y'know, his love for getting beaten to a pulp by said boss to serve his boner. Honestly, just lean into their canon dynamic and keep Anjou from kicking the bucket, and I'll be happy.
* First meetings! Backstory! Was Kakihara always so flashy and outrageous, or did he develop that persona over time after getting comfortable in Anjou's gang? Was it

* Outsider POV! I am so, so here for a look into how other yakuza view Anjou and Kakihara. How many cocky young criminals made the mistake of assuming Kakihara is just Anjou's boytoy? What does a new inductee to Anjou's clan think as they slowly realize that no, Kakihara isn't just putting on an act to intimidate people, he really is Like That? Does a well-meaning but naive outsider assume that Kakihara is being abused against his will and try to "help?" Just...give me all of people trying to process what the hell the relationship is between Anjou and his enforcer.

I don't have a ton of specific prompts for these tags because the relationship tags are basically prompts in and of themselves. I like backstory, I like worldbuilding, I like smut, I like character interactions that reveal things about the characters without them coming out and actually saying anything directly. I like relationships that start antagonistic and reluctantly grow less so. (Or that start antagonistic and grow even MORE antagonistic. That's A+ too.)
- Dethroned and Enslaved Cyborg Prince/Immoral Cyborg Slave Trader (M/M) -
If I were in the habit of titling my requests, I would have titled this one "Whump, Powerplay, and Robotfucking, Oh My." Which is 100% what I'd like out of this pairing.
* Maybe the slave trader (who could either be a cyborg himself or just a human who deals in cyborg slaves) admired the prince from afar when he was still in power? And when the disgraced prince gets dropped at his feet, he's a kid on christmas morning.
* What kind of person (er, cyborg) is the prince? Was he a cruel, prideful ruler who was forced off the throne by his mistreated subjects? A kind and gentle ruler who was in the wrong place at the wrong time? A timid figurehead who never wanted power in the first place? Whichever it is, the slave trader has far too much fun playing off it now that the prince has fallen from glory.
* Does the slave trader have some personal history with the monarchy? For added dramatic betrayal, maybe he used to be someone who worked in the palace or knew/was friendly with the prince when he was young.

It's simple enough for our hero to ignore the toll their eating habits are taking on their physical health, but when it starts affecting their ability to fight evil...we might have a problem.
* How does the nemesis start suspecting what's going on with her rival? Does she notice the warning signs out of personal experience? Is it a secret identity situation where she attends the same school as the hero, and makes the connection between what she sees them doing at lunch and their poor performance in their role as a magical girl/boy?
* "Look, I know we're supposed to have our big showdown tonight, but I SAW you down all those laxatives. You, uh, wanna reschedule our fight for tomorrow? Or the day after?"
* Magical boy/girl collapses mid-confrontation with their nemesis, before they've even gotten to the battling. Cue a fed-up nemesis picking them up and insisting on getting their blood sugar up NOW, yes don't worry she'll grab something low-calorie, now sit down and drink some electrolytes, dammit. Only so they can have a fair fight later, of course. >:c

I'm a sucker for a good old-fashioned "AI causes lots of trouble for his reluctant body-having companion" tale.
* Why does the AI want to hijack a body? Is the android a threat of some sort? Is there something - or someone - he's looking to escape that he can't on his own? Is he just really into the idea of having a body and doesn't want to fill out the paperwork to obtain one?
* I am delighted by the idea of an AI who thinks he can just hop into a body and know how to use it effortlessly, and promptly falls flat on his face because what the fuck, this is so heavy, how is he going to coordinate a dozen different limbs at once? And the body's owner is going to reluctantly have to help him, if they're ever going to get their body back.
* What kind of android are we dealing with? A manual labor robot? A hearty android warrior? A sex robot? Maybe the android already has some negative past experiences with having their body taken over against their will...
* Of course there's the initial conflict of "who are you, what the heck, excuse me can I please have my bodily autonomy back?" But do the AI and the android grow closer over time, maybe through being forced to work together somehow?
