Dear writer,

Thank you for writing for me! I hope you have a great exchange, enjoy writing, and receive the gift of your dreams.

Outside of my DNWs, I'm not picky, so if you already have an idea for any of these characters or pairings, feel free to write where your heart takes you! But of course, I have prompts below.

My AO3 username is Piinutbutter.

Subject 13

Ah Cizin/Franklin Fargo

I got this game for a few bucks during the Steam sale, expecting a couple hours of time waster. I didn't expect to catch a new OTP. Interdimensional groundhog day loops starting with manipulation and ending in literal dubcon soulbonding? I'm down.

There's so much you can do with these two. What were things like between Ah Cizin and the first twelve Franklins? Has his attitude towards them changed over time? He's affectionate towards Franklin's thirteenth incarnation, and one of the earlier Franklins stated that Ah Cizin loved him, but was he always that way?

Subject 09 in particular quotes him out of context as saying "Without my intervention, Subject 09, you would be dead." What happened there? The easy answer is that it was another timeline where Franklin tried to kill himself, but what if it wasn't? What if Franklin ran into trouble with something on the island?

And of course, there's the soul-fusing shenanigans themselves. What was that like, for either the first Franklin or the thirteenth, should Sophie not have managed to rescue him? There's plenty of potential for psychological horror and weirdness there.

If you want to go in a smutty route with these two, consider: Praise kink, literal mindfuckery brought on by their soul-fusing, or just straight-up phone sex. (Speaker sex?)

Middens (Video Game)

Genie/Nomad

Hi, yes, I'm here for completely and utterly fucked up human/gun relationships.

I'd love anything examining Genie's complicated attitude towards the Nomad - Genie's simultaneously fond of and disdainful towards him, both needy and dismissive. I'd love anything following these two in their journey to purify the rift, but psychological horror and mind games are more than welcome.

If you want to go full-on with the angst, consider the bad ending in Gingiva, where Nomad comes face-to-face with a Genie murdering everyone around him. What goes down there?

And if we want to talk smut potential: Genie's giant monstrous lizard form. That is all.

(Note: I know that Genie's gender has been declared ambiguous according to word of god, but I've always seen him as male, and if possible, I'd rather have male pronouns for him.)

Marathon (Video Games)

Admiral Tfear
Tycho

The glimpses we got into Pfhor bureaucracy in Infinity were both amusing and fascinating, and left me craving fic about what the day-to-day jobs of those involved in the Pfhor military are like. Tfear probably isn't always dealing with universe-destroying supermonsters, but what about slave rebellions and invasions?

Tycho has such a strong personality, how does he get along with the rest of the Pfhor he has to work with? And the whole core-cracking incident - how exactly did that go down? I'd just love to see Tfear or Tycho (or both!) navigating the strict world of Pfhor society in their own ways.

Soul Calibur

Arthur

I know, I know. Arthur's a palette swap that literally only exists because of regional censorship. But the backstory that they built for him is very interesting, and I'd love a fic that explores his strange childhood. Excuse my quoting the SC wiki here:

[Arthur] arrived in Japan, where he was adopted by a wealthy merchant who regarded him as little more than a curiosity from the West. Under the tutelage of his new stepfather, Arthur was taught Japanese and proper etiquette. Still, he was disliked and criticized by many, and his stepfather eventually gave him up to a noble under the excuse that it was to teach him manners. He eventually ended up serving as a warrior for the noble, and because he presented an obvious target, he learned to fight effectively in order to survive. It is also during one of the many battles he fought that he lost his eye.

Voldo

Voldo's been my SC main for years, and that has less to do with me being good at playing him and more to do with the fact that he's just such a fascinating and wonderfully weird character. There's so much you can explore with him - his childhood before meeting Vercci? One of the missions Voldo tackled while working for him? His adventures sailing around the world during the games? Daily life in the money pit? I'd love any and all of it.

Voldo/Vercci

...of course, it's hard to experience Voldo's story modes and not notice just how obsessed he is with Vercci. The absolute die-hard loyalty between these two is like no relationship I've seen in any other game, and I'm always craving anything exploring it. First meetings? The best equivalent of domestic bliss you can get when one of you is a warmongering weapons merchant? Angsty mindfuckery and manipulation when Soul Edge impersonates Vercci? I'm here for it.

Abuse (Video Game)

Alan Blake
Nick Vrenna
Alan Blake/Nick Vrenna

Abuse has exactly 5 paragraphs of plot, but what was presented in those 5 paragraphs makes me hungry for more.

What was Nick accused of in the first place, and how did his early days in the prison go? What was it like to discover that he was immune to Abuse while he watched his fellow inmates suffer around him? How did Blake start conducting his less-than-ethical experiments (did he found the prison in the first place?), and what kinds of things went wrong early on in the testing phases?

For them together, consider all the messed-up potential of a mad scientist who has all the power over a prisoner who's caught his attention/obsession by maintaining a mysterious immunity to the Abuse gene sequence. Considering the canon we're talking about here, body horror, gore, and medical kink are more than welcome.

Gingiva (Video Game)

Gingiva
The Magistrate
Queen Mother Most High
Slave Driver
Reptile Twin & Twin Reptile

My prompt for all of these characters is one big "Worldbuilding, please!"

Gingiva has such a unique dystopian setting, and seeing the daily lives and workings of the various players in the labor hierarchy would be fascinating.

What was Gingiva's childhood like, and did she ever try and bond with the other employees? How do the slave drivers get into business, and how do they go about taming and selling their slaves? Has the Queen always believed the dogma she espouses? What kinds of jobs are the Reptile Twins called upon to perform, and what were they doing before they began working for the Queen? What was the Magistrate's rise to power like?

Something tackling any of these questions, or anything related to this horrible world, would be amazing.

Siren (Video Games)

Miyako Kajiro
Ayako Kajiro
Jun Kajiro
Hisako Yao
Shiro Miyata & Kei Makino

Siren's world is a strange, fascinating, and horrifying one that's just ripe with worldbuilding potential, particularly in the context of Hanuda's small community.

How did Hisako's grip on the old village turn into the chokehold she has on it now? How did the ritual start, and how did it become something that people just...accepted?

What was life like for the Kajiro children in their early years? We know Miyako's was confined, but did Jun or Ayako get any freedom of their own? Come to think of it, how did Miyako get her seeing eye dog, and did she use it to spy on people?

Speaking of troubled childhoods, Kei and Shiro have a lot of issues to unpack. How did Shiro's twisted obsession with eternal life begin, and how did Kei handle being so close yet so distant to his brother? What happened in those dreams they shared?

Really, I just want to see anything that explores this little messed-up village and its inhabitants.

悪魔城ドラキュラ | Castlevania Series

Raisa Volkova

Raisa is one of my favorite CV villains, and I have a deep craving for fic about her weird life.

First of all, what was her childhood like? Being the literal daughter of Satan is bound to present some weirdness. I presume her parents were cultists or devil worshippers of some sort, so how did they raise Raisa with the knowledge that she carried his blood? (Or, for a darker route, was she the unexpected and unintended result of Satan assaulting a human woman? Satan himself doesn't seem to want anything to do with his children, after all.)

Once she grew up, how did she get into the world of science? Heck, she must have gone to school. The business school adventures of Satan's tentacle monster daughter is a concept that deserves to be explored, if you ask me.

Or, what about her relationship with her brothers? They're all competing for their father's favor, but was it always that way?

.

Actrise & Gilles de Rais & Malus

Castlevania 64 was a weird game, but I came out of it wanting fic about baby Dracula and his child-murdering servants. Going by Legacy of Darkness' story, Actrise and Gilles de Rais weren't sure which child Dracula was reborn into, so they just kidnapped a bunch of them in a search for the right child. How did they finally find Malus, and what went on behind the scenes once they did?

.

Heinrich Meyer

inb4 "Who the heck is Heinrich Meyer?"

That is the apparent guide-given name of the lizardman prisoner in CV64, who helps Carrie and Reinhardt out in the castle. His backstory is, well, I'm just gonna quote:

Heinrich Meyer, a nearby merchant, visited the castle of Dracula five years ago to ply his trade of wooden artifacts, aware of the presence of evil, but not letting that get in the way of a sale. Once inside the castle, he was offered some tea by a rather pale-looking butler... Waking up three days later, he discovered to his horror that he was tied to a huge wooden operating bench, and a small mad scientist was working furiously on inserting a number of needles into his arm. The rest of his body covered in leeches, Heinrich let out an awful scream and then realized the true terror of his predicament. A thick rasping noise sounded from his lips... as he looked down, he saw blue scales covering his torso and legs. He was changing... the fearful and quite mad Heinrich (now completely transformed into a lizard man) is kept in a castle bedroom. He keeps a key for company, and runs from the slightest aggression.

...and that's pretty much my prompt, too. There is so much horror and angst potential in his backstory, and I'm dying for fic about it.

.

Cornell/Dracula

I fully admit this is the shallow, iddy prompt of this bunch. The original plan for CV64, before the devs got hit by the time crunch bulldozer, was to have Cornell being Dracula's prisoner. His outfit supported that idea, with the torn clothing and the manacle around his ankle.

So...Dracula creeping on Cornell. That's it. That's all I want. For a slightly more plotty angle, I assume Dracula was still planning to absorb Cornell's power into himself like he did in LoD. Was he doing it through traumatic experiments like what Heinrich went through, or some other means?

.

Alucard/Grant/Sypha/Trevor

Ah, my first OT4. So many different backgrounds and personalities coming together to bond over their mutual hatred of an old man in a castle.

There's so much you can do with these four. Friendly sparring that turns a bit flirty? Campfire-side ghost story sessions on the way to the castle? Emotional reunions after their victory (in which we can pretend that Alucard didn't immediately go bury himself in dirt)? I'm down for any of it.

More angsty takes are also more than welcome. Everyone has their issues - Trevor's exile, Sypha's persecution, Grant's enslavement, Alucard's daddy issues...what happens when they rub up against one another?
