What is it?

A sci-fi horror manga filled to the brim with body horror, freaky alien creatures, and sexy, sexy cannibalism. I wrote a full promo post for it this year!

(Note 1: Considering Yamabiki's whole horny cannibal mpreg deal in canon, I'm totally waiving my pregnancy DNW for this fandom. Go wild.)

(Note 2: Even if it's not in my DNWs, I understand that writing a certain level of underage without it being opted into might give some people pause. So, consider this me explicitly opting in to mentions/flashbacks of Yamabiki's childhood trauma, and giving you permission to not think too hard about Natsune's technical age. :P)

- Kiriyu/Yamabiki -

Fuck me, I love the complicated, dysfunctional power play these two have going on so much. Kiriyu thinking he can take advantage of his carefree son-in-law and Yamabiki innocently and effortlessly outgunning him at every turn is just. Good shit. The best shit. Some specific prompts:

* Pre-Cradle, I can't see Yamabiki being genuinely attracted to Kiriyu...but I can absolutely see him deciding to fuck with Kiriyu and throw him off his game by flirting with him once he realizes that Kiriyu feels so incredibly threatened by his presence. Like with everything Yamabiki does, Kiriyu doesn't have a goddamn clue how to handle it.

* Along those same lines: The thing Kiriyu values most is his good public reputation, and Yamabiki knows it. After Kiriyu pisses him off by destroying another one of his experiments or something, Yamabiki sets out to punish him by making sure rumors spread that the illustrious Professor Kiriyu is having illicit relations with not only one of his students, but his own son-in-law. Scandalous!

* Also, if you're going with something pre-Cradle, don't feel the need to push Yuki out of the picture! I'm perfectly down with Yamabiki genuinely liking and caring for her, even as he's fucking - figuratively and literally - with her dad. Oooh, actually...some sort of outsider POV with Yuki trying to decide if she's just imagining that something illicit is going on between her fiance and her father? Would be A+.

* After their messy family reunion in the Cradle, there is so much dirtybadwrong potential. Mainly in the form of Kiriyu jumping at the chance to get revenge by doing terrible, nonconny things to Yamabiki, now that he has his Halcyon monsters to give him the upper hand. Feel free to get as terrible as you want - Kiriyu using medical implements in ways that would make Hippocrates cringe, Kiriyu having one or several of the Halcyon members do his dirty work and rape Yamabiki, Kiriyu operating on Yamabiki to try and turn him into a mindless, lustful monster...go for it. So long as Yamabiki is still alive at the end of it all. (I wouldn't say no to a handwavey mention that Natsune magically sweeps in and saves him in the last paragraph. ^^;)

- Natsune/Yamabiki -

I feel so blessed that this ship exists. All throughout canon I kept thinking "oh man wouldn't it be iddy if...but there's no way they'll go there." And then they went there. Every time.

I'm happy with all sorts of content for these two. Post-canon where they're Happy and Okay and finally get to have a (somewhat) normal relationship with another human! In-canon angsty smut leaning into all the body horror and breeding! Post-canon happy smut leaning into the body horror and breeding - but in a chill, consensual way! Both of them getting to finally work through their (many, many) traumas! So many possibilities. Some specific prompts:

* Hear me out here: A canon divergence where Yamabiki tries to execute his cloning plan earlier in the timeline. The higher-ups spying on them see "The weird mutant prettyboy does some strange sexual ritual with the Regenerator -> more Regenerators???" Cue them seizing Natsune and Yamabiki and drugging them up to try and make a new set of Reproducers.

* Speaking of the Reproducer drugs, another idea: One of them accidentally pricks themselves with a tiny dose of the serum. They're not irreversibly gone, but someone's gotta step up to the plate and satisfy them to bring them back down to earth...

* A few years after escaping the Cradle, Natsune's chronological age gives him a surprise when he stumbles into a very late puberty. Suddenly he has all these hormones and desires and no idea what to do with them. Yamabiki has a few ideas.

* Due to the lighthearted face Yamabiki puts on, Natsune kind of assumed that all of Yamabiki's flirting/foreplay was meant as a joke. There's no way the guy's actually attracted to a mutant experiment like him, right? (Wrong, and Yamabiki is happy to prove it.)

* As much as I love the horny cannibalism we got in the manga, given the title Starving Anonymous, I am a bit surprised we never got to see Natsune letting Yamabiki nibble on him just for sustenance. How long were they down there? C'mon, he must have been hungry! Or, or: Years later when they're living a normal life, Natsune's sworn he won't be treated like a piece of meat ever again. Cue Yamabiki ruining those plans when he admits he wouldn't mind cutting off a little bit of Natsune's flesh and marinating it for dinner. Just. Fluffy, romantic cannibalism. <3

* A twist on Bad Guys Made Them Do It: Canon divergence where the boys don't succeed at fighting off the Halcyon group. Kiriyu wants to degrade and ruin his son-in-law as soon and as brutally as possible. He announces to the others his intentions to have a Halcyon member rape Yamabiki, which Natsune realizes would all but certainly kill him. Desperate and short on time, Natsune goes with the first plan that comes to mind...and volunteers to do it instead. After all, if Kiriyu's just after humiliation, what's more humiliating than being violated by your own ally, right? Right?!

Ichi the Killer

What is it?

An OTT violent and horny action manga (+ movie adaptation) about a hedonistic, masochistic yakuza member and the childish, sadistic serial killer he becomes obsessed with. I cannot exaggerate the amount of horny violence in this series enough; let's just say that the movie got banned in several countries, and it was absolutely tame and vanilla compared to the source material.

You know, I facetiously describe a lot of my favorite ships as "the two most terrible people ever who make the most dysfunctional couple ever." But I think...I think these two take the cake in that department. Two perverts who have absolutely no redeeming human qualities, resort to deadly, pointless violence at the drop of a hat, and have the combined emotional intelligence of a rock. They're perfect for each other! :D

* Most fic with these two would probably have to take off from after the balcony/rooftop finale, but if you can figure out how to make something before that work, go for it! Maybe Kakihara indulges in some very realistic and thought-out fantasies of Ichi coming to kill him that turn into Ichi doing...more...than that.

* R63 AU. Literally everything is the same except that Ichi and Kakihara are women. Or just Kakihara is female! I'm here for it.

* With how easily-manipulated Ichi is, I can all too easily see Kakihara convincing him to ditch Jijii and come work with him. What kind of fucked-up domestic happily ever after do these two bastards get up to? And how many spit-takes are done when Kakihara shows up at some yakuza hangout with his new serial killer boyfriend?

* Some canon divergence where Ichi and Kakihara meet without Jijii's interference, and Ichi isn't actively attempting to kill Kakihara. How does Kakihara react to finally having the famed Ichi to himself?

- Anjou/Kakihara -

To say Kakihara has any good qualities would be a stretch, and yet, you can't help but admire his love for his boss. And, y'know, his love for getting beaten to a pulp by said boss to serve his boner. Honestly, just lean into their canon dynamic and keep Anjou from kicking the bucket, and I'll be happy.

* First meetings! Backstory! Was Kakihara always so flashy and outrageous, or did he develop that persona over time after getting comfortable in Anjou's gang? Was it love at first sight lust at first punch for Kakihara, or did it take him a while to realize what he was feeling for his boss? How did Anjou feel about bringing a wildcard like Kakihara under his wing, especially with how unpredictable he could be? How did Anjou react to his right hand man's very, very obvious crush on him and his fists?

* Do...do I even have to mention what kind of smut I'd like between these two? Exactly what they get up to in canon. There doesn't need to be sex. Kakihara's violence boner is more than enough for me. :D

* R63 AU. Look. Something about a sexually aggressive masochistic crime lord lady and her indulgent older woman boss who beats her up to keep her happy? Makes my id happy.

* Outsider POV! I am so, so here for a look into how other yakuza view Anjou and Kakihara. How many cocky young criminals made the mistake of assuming Kakihara is just Anjou's boytoy? What does a new inductee to Anjou's clan think as they slowly realize that no, Kakihara isn't just putting on an act to intimidate people, he really is Like That? Does a well-meaning but naive outsider assume that Kakihara is being abused against his will and try to "help?" Just...give me all of people trying to process what the hell the relationship is between Anjou and his enforcer.

How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?

What is it?

A delightful manga & anime about high school girls getting buff as hell as they learn to navigate the wacky world of strength training. Only the first two volumes of the manga have officially been released in English (and, full disclosure, I haven't read the scanlations for the rest of the series), but the 12-episode anime is free to watch on Funimation's website.

- Akemi Soryuin/Hibiki Sakura -

I knew I was going to love these two the moment Akemi slammed Hibiki against the wall and announced her intention to get swole with her. Couples goals, right there. Some specific prompts:

* I'm here for them doing any sort of fitness thing together! Akemi teaching Hibiki new muscle building/weight loss tips, them recreating one of those OTT "Gym Couple" workouts, meal prepping together, Hibiki trying to teach Akemi the ways of her stronk arms...anything is good!

* One of the girls goes too hard at the gym or doesn't use proper form, and gets injured. The other tends to them. (If it's Akemi doing the tending, there's probably a lecture about athlete recovery techniques in there somewhere...)

* On a lewd note: Hibiki's hard work has been paying off, and she's built some visible muscle. Akemi has a hard time controlling her thirst for it.

* On a second lewd note: Hibiki's slacking on her training. Akemi convinces her to keep going by promising 'favors' for every set she completes.

- Gina & Hibiki & Akemi & Ayaka & Satomi -

THE GANG.

* The whole structure of the girls' adventures, with them learning new exercises and overcoming injuries/diet mishaps/gym missteps, was perfect to me, and I'd be delighted to read something that continues on from that. They pick up a new workout, someone gains weight over the holidays, Akemi's eagerness gets them in over their heads...anything in the style of canon is great!

* MUSCLE GALS. We need to talk about the Muscle Gals. This show already hit one of my favorite subjects with the fitness, and then they had to go for a critical hit by combining it with one of my other favorite things: J-idols. I 100% want to read an AU where they got approved as an idol group. What hardships do they have to go through, promoting their brand of buff kawaii? What's their first performance like? Does their fandom get into forum wars about which girl has the best deadlift form? Just give me weightlifting idol content and I will be so happy.

* Because I'm incapable of not thinking about angsty things: One or more of the girls takes their passion for fitness too far and develops an exercise addiction/eating disorder. The others try to help in their own unique (and perhaps not so helpful) ways. Feel free to use this for my Akemi/Hibiki request, too!

Food Fantasy

What is it?

A free-to-play mobile RPG where you summon food dishes from around the world - anthropomorphized as hot people - to fight evil. I swear it is better than it sounds.

I swear the writers were coming for me with this element of FF's lore. Opera Cake sounds quite bitter when discussing the entitled aristocrats who take advantage of his status as a food soul to treat him as their own personal toy. Combine that with how many humans apparently courted/stalked him thanks to his beauty...it's not a stretch to imagine some nobles would take a very personal interest in the handsome countertenor who quite literally cannot say no.

* Honestly, just go as sleazy and indulgent as you like, here. Think OTT gothic bodice rippers about innocent maidens being taken advantage of by wicked noblemen, except that it's a grown man who's quickly learning how harsh the world can be when you're a food soul with a pretty face.

* I have no preference for the gender(s) of the human(s) who are pursuing Opera Cake. A frustrated noblewoman who has needs that her husband won't fulfill? A husband and wife team who both want to take part in their reluctant guest? The spoiled son of a noble family whose parents' money can buy him whatever - and whoever - he wants? Go wild.

* Crossdressing! So much crossdressing. We know at least one duke has already commissioned an elaborate dress for Opera Cake to wear.

* If you're inclined, you are totally welcome to combine this ship with Opera Cake/Souffle. I imagine the noble(s) would be delighted that Opera Cake brought his pretty, shy, submissive friend along to play! Opera Cake can't exactly warn them about Souffle's other half without sounding crazy, either...

Dawn in Naples is a plotty music video from Shanghai-based idol group SNH48. I know a music video might seem like a strange thing to request for a 5k minimum exchange, but Dawn in Naples has just as much happening in it as any full-length canon, all wrapped up in <15 deliciously femslashy minutes. Swordfighting! Assassins! Betrayal! Revenge! Court intrigue! Masquerade balls! Traitorous hand-kisses! Gorgeous costumes! Hateshipping potential through the roof! It’s a fabulous song and MV, and it exemplifies everything I love about SNH48 as a group.

The normal version of the MV is available here, and an extended version is available here. (I would highly recommend watching the normal version first, then the extended version, since the normal version has the lyrics fully subtitled in English as well as the dialogue.)

For some reason, neither of the videos bothered to subtitle the intro text. I'll copy and paste a fan's translation from the comments (no guarantees of 100% accuracy, but me and my basic-ass Mandarin knowledge can't do any better, so):

A nation made up of 16 islands. The nobles, made delirious by ambition, seek to seize power within the country by causing internal unrest. However, the presence of a powerful king caused the rebellion to fail. The triumphant ruler forced all the nobles to swear allegiance to the king's seal, which became known as the Vow of the Seal. This seal became a hereditary symbol of power in the royal family. Of course, there were powers who refused to follow the Vow of the Seal. In the shadows, they plotted their schemes. The king left a pendant to the young princess and told her, "This necklace will protect you." Very soon, the peaceful days came to an end. Those who thirsted after the throne began to move again, plunging the country once more into unrest. The powers of darkness made their move and caused strange symptoms to appear in the princess. Meanwhile, the nobles rallied around the duchess and amassed their power. As the country grew more and more chaotic, mysterious assassins suddenly killed off the king. The king's seal went missing, and the turbulent times reached their peak.

With the plot out of the way, let's get to the important stuff, like how I ship the living daylights out of the duchess (in the black coat, played by Li Yitong) and the princess (in both the white and black dresses, played by Ju Jingyi). They’re both so calculating and confident, with each thinking they have the upper hand over the other. They're polite to each other in person while there's still a clear silent acknowledgement that they're aiming to sabotage the other's ambitions. And of course, the princess' increasingly-powerful dark alternate personality provides so much plot material. I’d love an exploration of these messy feelings and political machinations, potentially with a side of smut? :D

(A note on names: Feel free to come up with original names for the characters, or just use the singers' names. The MV is obviously set in Italy, but given the source group, I'd honestly be delighted if everyone was still Chinese with no questions asked.)

Some specific prompts:

* Backstory fic! What kind of relationship did the two of them have before the duchess started really gunning for the throne? Did she worm her way into the court in the first place by seducing the princess? Or maybe in the beginning they had a genuinely amicable relationship, but the duchess grew greedy over time. Did the duchess start noticing signs of the princess' dark side, and if she did, what did she make of it? Did the duchess grow to hate the princess personally (maybe because of those darkness-induced changes), or was this all more of a "No hard feelings, I just want your power and thus you need to die" situation?

* Rather than kissing the princess at the masquerade party, the duchess decides a more intimate setting might cause less of a public stir. She tries to assassinate the princess while they’re banging, potentially still in their ballgowns, is what I’m getting at.

* AU where, instead of killing the duchess, the dark princess' revenge is keeping her as a pet. Maybe the kiss that she delivers acts as mind control instead of poison? Feel free to go dark and fucked up here.

* Just…just lots and lots of hatesex. I am 100% here for PWP. That throne is absolutely ripe for throne sex to claim one's victory, but also, consider the princess just bending the duchess over the table at the ending scene. Oh, oh, and think of the clothing porn potential, because goddamn does Li Yitong look fabulous in that fancy coat and breeches. (You can actually see what her costume looks like beneath the coat in the behind the scenes video here.) Another potential kink, based off their weapons, would be gun/sword play. Just go wild, honestly!

Dracula

- Dracula/Jonathan Harker -

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that reading Dracula at a young age was pretty damn formative for me, and I shipped Dracula/Jonathan before I even knew what shipping was. I've never stopped loving this pairing, and I would love to see more of their delightfully creepy and erotic predator/prey dynamic. Especially with all of Dracula's tasty, tasty possessiveness.

If you'd like a spark of somewhat random inspiration, may I link you to a snippet of the wonderful Dracula/Jonathan scene from a Dracula ballet adaptation I saw a few years back? Because hot damn.

Some specific prompts:

* You know the entire beginning section of the book? With Dracula keeping Jonathan imprisoned and creeping on him something awful? Just...more of that, please and thank you. Maybe with plenty of Jonathan attempting to outsmart his captor but being thwarted every time. (I kind of love the idea of Jonathan injuring himself while trying to escape and Dracula chiding and comforting him against his will.) Potentially resulting in Dracula just deciding to turn Jonathan and keep him with the rest of his brides, because how could he let go of such an entertaining human?

* Vampire sex is a classic, so let's talk smut. Their dynamic obviously lends itself well to noncon, but dubcon with lots of vampire hypnotism and slow seduction and stockholm syndrome works just as well. :D Some kinks that lend themselves well to these two: Blood drinking, vampire bites as aphrodisiacs, manhandling, scratching, possessive sex, and somnophilia.

* Consider: An arranged marriage AU where Jonathan is handed over to Dracula as a sacrificial bride so he won't terrorize the surrounding villagers.

* The "fantasy" part of the sci-fi/fantasy tag is already covered by default with Drac vamping it up all over the place, but for the "sci-fi" part...okay, listen. Hear me out here: A sci-fi AU where Dracula is a mysterious energy-absorbing alien on a remote planet and Jonathan is the hapless human diplomat sent to help him get set up to move to Earth. I am 100% serious about this prompt.

Gingiva is such a delightful little game. If you're interested in the premise of "female automaton breaks out of prison, takes a roadtrip through a bugfuck surreal landscape, picks up a gang of adorable friends, fights against all odds and goes through some shit, and becomes a suffragette," why not play it for yourself? It's completely free, and takes between 4 and 7 to hours to finish, depending on how much you want to explore.

(Aaand if you like the game and want more, you might want to check out Middens, another free short game that serves as a prequel to Gingiva. I reference some of the information from Middens in the prompts involving Genie and Nomad, but it's not necessary to play by any means.)

Note: This fandom is an exception to my pregnancy DNW. While I'd prefer not to have Gingiva herself getting pregnant, I'm perfectly happy with exploring Genie's habit of nonconsensually bullet-impregnating corpses.

* Gingiva - I just love Gingiva as a protagonist. Despite being a mute automaton, she has so much personality, and I love her motivation and strength in the face of all the adversity she faces. I'd love some post-canon adventures as she leaves her past behind and finds her own place in the world. What new weird things and creatures does she come across in the rift? I'd also love pre-canon backstory, maybe exploring what her life was like before she started working at the factory. Or some during-canon bonding with her party members? I imagine she'd want to take care of Kharms and make sure it was happy after seeing it get bullied, and I feel like she'd have a soft spot for Himmler, too.

* Gingiva/Genie - Oh boy, darkfic potential! I'd love something post-bad-ending with Genie dragging Gingiva further into a world of violence. Maybe an exploration of how she's drawn to Genie because power should have been a way to protect herself, but it failed her for much of her life? I loved all the "little talks" Genie had with the Nomad in Middens, and would love to see Genie having them with Gingiva as they travel across the rift together.

* Gingiva/Nomad - Let the automaton have an actually nice relationship with a man she wants and chooses for herself! I'd love some post-good-ending hurt/comfort and bonding here, or maybe some fluffy adventuring through the rift together. Nomad knows exactly what it's like to deal with Genie, and they've both gone through some hard times. Maybe the Nomad teaches Gingiva how to play the guitar, and Gingiva teaches the Nomad how to build things?

* I'd also be delighted with a combination of the above two ships - maybe Genie notices the Nomad's familiar attire on the bus and decides to spare his life, and he, Gingiva, and Genie go on the world's most unhealthy and awkward road trip together? I feel like this would be a good opportunity to explore the consequences of all the children that Genie and the Nomad created during their little bloodbath.

* Reptile Twin/Twin Reptile - These two are the best combination of the "hyper-codependent twins" and "old married couple" dynamics. They finish each other's sentences! They call each other their other half! They only refer to each other with affectionate nicknames! I love them in all their assholeish glory. I'd love to see pre-canon fic exploring how they came to work for the Queen, or what not-very-ethical adventures they got up to in her employ. I'd also love post-canon fic following their adventures after they ditched their job. Do they try to find employment elsewhere? I feel like hurt/comfort would work well with these two, since for all their indifference to others' suffering, I don't think they could stand to see each other hurting.

Castlevania is such a delightful and varied series. It has so many fascinating characters who don't get explored nearly enough in their own canon. I'm requesting three of those here, along with my perennial CV ship.

* Magnus - There's so many questions surrounding the one (1) whole incubus in the series. How did he first come to the castle? What's his relationship with Dracula like? What about his relationship with Alucard, before Alucard rebelled against his father? Does Death approve of his little scheme to put Alucard on the throne while Dracula's in the grave? Heck, what's the daily life of an incubus in Dracula's castle like? I would 100% read fic about the mundane annoyances that come with sex demon life. If you're inclined, I am also more than down for smutty Magnus/Dracula, Magnus/Alucard, or Magnus/Lyudmil. After all, the guy is a sex demon...

* Lyudmil - I'd never understood the phrase "cinnamon roll" until Lyudmil came along. The poor boy just wanted to make flower crowns for his grumpy vampire master! He suffered so much, and I just want him to be happy...or suffer more. Suffering more is also good. I'd love more daily life interactions between him and Alucard, or maybe an AU where Lyudmil sticks with him even after becoming a vampire. I'd also love to see what he and Magnus were getting up to in the centuries between Lyudmil's vampirization and the events of NoR. I'm also curious how he and Dracula got on while he worked in the castle. Dracula hates humans, so I can't imagine he took well to one getting close to his only son. And finally, consider: A bad end where Magnus successfully traumatizes Alucard into becoming the new lord of the castle, with Lyudmil at his side. For shipping and/or smut (which is always welcome), I'd love fluffy awkward Lyudmil/Alucard, or angsty unhealthy Lyudmil/Magnus.

* Cornell - I love this socially-awkward single dad woofboy so much. So much. He's just trying to do the right thing as best he can. I'd love to see something exploring his life after coming home from the castle. How does Cornell deal with having another human child essentially dumped at his feet? How do the other werewolves react to Cornell's unorthodox household - do Ada and Henry have to prove their worth to them? (Also consider: Henry bringing home the five children from his story mode and an older Cornell realizing the boy is following in his footsteps.) ...On the opposite side of the family fluff coin, for potential shipping and/or smut, I'd be so down with Cornell/Ortega werewolf hatesex.

* Dracula/Simon Belmont - I'm so damn weak for this ship. Fiery redheaded vampire hunter and jerkass vampire who can't stop beating each other up. I'm just gonna copy and paste from a past request here: I would adore anything about these two together, from the more fluffy end of the spectrum to something violent and dark. Maybe Simon loses his first battle with Dracula, and Dracula keeps him locked up in the castle because he's lonely/wants a Belmont of his own to take his anger out on. Maybe the curse gives Dracula control of more of Simon than his life - maybe he can go full mind control with it. Or maybe at some point after fighting each other so many times, one or both of them just throws up their hands and goes "You know what, this is stupid, why are we doing this song and dance over and over?" and they get to know each other better. It would also be interesting to see a role-reversal AU with these two - the tyrannical Belmont family's latest spoiled prince and the vampire who's come to take him down. As for potential kinks if you want to go the smutty route, there's obviously whipping, bondage, and bloodplay. Also size kink. Because Simon is half Dracula's height and it delights me.
