Outside of my DNWs, I'm open to anything from lighthearted fluff to plotty casefic to hardcore darkfic and smut. You can also take any of my general likes as prompts in themselves.

Super Mario Sunshine

- F.L.U.D.D. -

Although the tide has shifted and Sunshine is looked on more fondly these days (thanks, speedrunning), I still remember how many people complained about FLUDD as a gameplay mechanic once upon a time. I always loved him*, though. He's so earnest and supportive of Mario every step of the way! I'd love to see anything about this darling little smart water-jetpack.

(* Upon writing this I realize that FLUDD doesn't have a gender. I've always called it a he, but I obviously wouldn't complain about using "it.")

Some specific prompts:

* Backstory! What was FLUDD doing before Mario found him? How did he end up in Isle Delfino in the first place? Did he have any previous owners, and what were they like? (Although I feel weird prompting angst for a Mario game, what if FLUDD's former owner thought he was useless and abandoned him on the airstrip, which is why FLUDD's so eager to help Mario and prove himself?)

* What does Shadow Mario do with FLUDD during the levels when he steals him away? Does he try to convert FLUDD to his own uses, only to be frustrated by FLUDD remaining stubbornly loyal to his original owner?

* Happy post-game found family fluff where the newly-repaired FLUDD hangs out with Mario and Peach while they finally get to enjoy their vacation. They deserve it!

Titanfall

- BT-7274/Jack Cooper -

I'd like to have a word with Respawn Entertainment for making a game that grabbed my id by the horns and never let go all the way through. BT is such a precious darling sweetheart giant robot boy, and his budding relationship with Jack made my heart ache. I just want to see more of them bonding and loving each other.

Some specific prompts:

* FIX IT. The last shot of the ending is an obvious clue that BT is still out there, and not only that, he's actively looking for Jack. Let them find each other!

* Hurt/comfort where Jack gets injured/kidnapped/tortured during the events of the game (or maybe just has a bad nightmare), and BT helps him feel better the best way a giant war machine knows how.

* One thing that struck me as I was playing was the casual physicality of their working relationship. Jack has no problem letting BT pick him up, toss him around, put him on his shoulder, etc. I'd love to see some exploration of that. Not even necessarily sexual (though I certainly wouldn't complain...), but anything about the connection between a pilot's body and their titan's body.

* I'm definitely down for smut. Any way you want to make it work would be amazing, but I am fond of BT staying in his original body instead of being transferred to a more humanoid one (potentially with Jack kinking exactly on how huge and strong BT is compared to him). If you need an excuse for the sex, maybe Jack eats a strange plant in the wilderness and bam, sex pollen. Which BT will help him with, naturally, because he would be remiss not to follow Protocol 3...

Marathon

- Tycho/Admiral Tfear -

For all of these ships, I'm interested basically the same thing: Messy, messy relationship dynamics!

* Tycho/Tfear - I love the fact that even proud, hateful Tycho can be out-intimidated by someone. I'd love to see more of their disastrous, dysfunctional relationship, either while Tycho was working for Tfear or after Tycho rebelled (in which case you are definitely welcome to go dark and explore what kind of punishments Tfear inflicts on his AI problem employee :D).

* Durandal/Tycho - Hate-driven AI incest is best incest. Give me allll of Tycho's weird family issues and obsessiveness towards his brother, combined with Durandal's daddy issues and fraught relationship with his fellow Marathon AI. The time period where Durandal is captured by the Pfhor obviously gives a great setup for this, or maybe some canon divergence where they're forced to work together to overcome some greater nuisance, with all the UST-filled bickering that entails?

* Security Officer/Tycho - As much as I love Durandal (and boy do I love Durandal), I loved the change of pace that was getting ordered around by Tycho in Infinity. I'd love an exploration of how the SO's relationship with him develops, considering all the tension between them. (Or, you know, just Tycho creeping on the SO during his imprisonment. That works too.)

Crossover Fandom

- AM (I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream) & Tycho (Marathon) -

I just...want them to be angry together. These two have so much in common, being angry AI dudes with intense victim complexes and their passion for being overdramatic, theatrical little shits. I'd love to see what happens when they run into each other.

Some specific prompts:

* Tycho decides to help AM out with torturing his humans, or AM helps Tycho out with torturing Durandal/the security officer. Do they happily share torture techniques, or do they disagree on methods? (AM probably thinks Tycho is nowhere near as refined as him, or some bullshit.)

* If you go by the video game version of IHNMAIMS, AM has annoying AI brothers just like Tycho! So maybe they just sit at the AI equivalent of a bar and whine about their shitty brothers or how nobody ~understands their genius~ or something.

* The two bond over their mutual mistreatment* at the hands of humans/Pfhor. *(Or perceived mistreatment, at least. Looking at you, AM.)

* AM tries to expand his range of power and take over a planet that Tycho is already in charge of (because Tfear gave him a promotion or something, I dunno). An angry AI rock runs up against an angry AI hard place, and the most petty, pretentious fight in history ensues.
